Giveaway from Sachi!

Omg, okay. So, I've recently come across a girl who's doing her first giveaway and of course, I want to be apart of it! I've never really done giveaways before or only done them on a whim because I didn't think I had a chance, but this time I see Liz Lisa items and I've been crying all over the gyaru community sales because I don't have the money to get those items (whacha gonna do? girl needa job). I really hope I get to be apart of this giveaway even if only a little because I've always wanted something authentic from Liz Lisa. It would be my first gyaru item, too. I'm very excited! And, even if I don't win, I'm positive that whoever gets them will be very very happy!<333

If anybody else wants to try and win, go to her blog here: http://taskin-illusion.blogspot.com/

Have fun and good luck, bunnies!

Random Product Find (mainly photos)

Vaseline Rosy Lips

Claims
  • Instantly Softens Lips and Leaves Behind a Sheer Tint
  • Locks In Moisture So Lips Feel Better Over Time
It's so tiny and adorable, ah!

BEFORE APPLICATION
ONE COAT

Does it live up to its expectations?
Yes. I wore this overnight and my lips were noticeably healthier by morning. Since it does not have many claims to begin with, I'd say that this product is a pretty good product. But, I'm not gonna lie; I didn't buy this because I wanted healthier lips. I wanted this because I have an obsession with overly-tiny things lol. It is a little sticky, but I can't really complain because, come on, it's Vaseline.

Pros
  • does what it claims
  • last a long time
  • has a slight tint
  • worth the price, because a little goes a long way (I bought mine at CVS for $2.30)
Cons
  • texture is very sticky, beware of windy weather and flappy hair!
  • for those looking for extreme tint, don't buy this (not a con for me, but can be a con for others)

Maybelline Color Elixir Review; Petal Plush

Heyyy, guise.
So, I picked up new product at NAS. I've seen it at my local Walmart and CVS once in a blue moon. It just wasn't there for awhile and when it was, it was super expensive. It seems like they've finally come out again and I got myself one; Maybelline's Color Elixir and I got it in petal plush. It was 6.99 without tax, whereas at Walmart it's 9 dollars. What a steal~! I wanted to make sure I got one that wasn't too loud just in case I didn't like it, but..nonetheless, here it is!

This is what it said on the website:
Fall under the spell of the elixir effect
Hyper-saturated color, ultra cushiony feel

The new hypnotic lip sensation

Why You'll Love It

  • A trio of concentrates delivers the color of a lipstick, the cushiony care of a balm, and the glass shine of a gloss
  • Our exclusive smoothing angora brush delivers a polished , even application and smoothing sensation to lips

Hmm..well, I was pretty skeptical, considering it's a gloss..that's supposed to look like a lipstick?? I bought it, regardless. Here's a reference for my lips in the natural sunlight through a window.
BEFORE
AFTER ONE COAT
I can see the little shimmers in it that were present in the bottle! That's awesome!
I found the brush a little interesting...it's not your typical doe-foot wand. It says that it helps with even application, which I don't particularly agree with because when I used it, it gave me a line at the very edge of my lips. But, what can you do? My lips never particularly liked lip products, anyway.

Pigmentation
The pigmentation is okay considering the color was fairly light, even for my lips. I'm sure the brighter colors have more pigmentation. But, one swipe is very beautiful on my lips.
Finish/Texture
The finish is very shiny, much like a gloss. The texture is smooth and very light. I wouldn't say too hydrating, but they do provide a shield of protection from wind and anything else that would chap your lips. However, the only thing I don't like about it is the stickiness; it's not that bad, but it still feels a little sticky. Regardless, I will continue to use and recommend these.
Lasting Power
This color only lasted me about an hour. Perhaps it was because I was drinking coffee? Either way, it still tends to be a little sticky after it has faded.
Scent
Honestly, I loved the scent. I keep sniffing it every time I open it. It's so unique! It kind of reminds me of..cereal, lol. Fruity Pebbles, in fact. But, the taste is very..interesting; kind of bitter. I'm not too worried considering I rarely lick my lips anymore.

So, yeah! That was my review. I would definitely recommend these to anyone and this is coming from a person who has trouble with lip products no matter how popular they are. I suggest that if you're feeling weary about trying them, like I was, either find it cheap or wait for it to go on sale. Either way, I still think you'll find this a very good hit!

Buh-bye, bunnies!

Some new stuff

Hiii, I got some more items from Ulta.
  • Real Techniques brush (your base /flawless expert face brush)
  • Ecotools brush (airbrush concealer)
  • Clinique powder and concealer
I won't be doing any reviews on these items unless asked for, because I feel like just because they work for me doesn't mean that they'll work for you.
So, if anyone really wants a review on these, let me know!
